Brooke Abrantes
Brooke Abrantes is a board-certified physician assistant dedicated to providing exceptional spine care in collaboration with Dr. Sandeep Gidvani. She plays a key role in evaluating patients, assisting with diagnoses, and developing personalized treatment plans to support recovery. Her expertise extends to assisting in surgery, performing in-office procedures, and managing both pre- and post-operative visits for new and returning patients.
Committed to building trust and fostering open communication, Brooke ensures her patients feel informed and supported throughout their care journey. She believes in a patient-centered approach, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs and encouraging active participation in decision-making to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Brooke earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin Pierce University, where she completed two orthopedic surgery rotations. Passionate about the transformative impact of medicine and surgery, she finds deep fulfillment in helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall well-being. As a former competitive athlete, she understands firsthand the challenges of injury and chronic pain and is dedicated to helping her patients restore function and quality of life.
Originally from San Diego, Brooke comes from a large family and is a proud aunt to nine nieces and nephews. She recently relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area with her fiancé to be closer to his family and their close-knit community of friends.
Outside of her medical practice, Brooke enjoys biking, running, knitting, and baking bread from scratch. She prioritizes maintaining her own health and fitness while cherishing time spent with family and friends.
She is honored to be a member of both the Pi Alpha Physician Assistant Honor Society and the Alpha Chi National Honor Society, recognizing her academic excellence and dedication to the PA profession.
