ABOUT

Tyson Baynes

Tyson Baynes’ primary medical focus is on providing comprehensive care in sports medicine and orthopedics.

He works closely with Dr. Anthony Saglimbini, collaborating to deliver the highest level of care to their patients. Together, they develop patient-centered treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

On a daily basis, Tyson performs musculoskeletal exams, reduces non-complex extremity fractures, administers joint and tendon injections with and without ultrasound guidance, and provides concussion care. His role also involves educating patients about their health conditions and treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare journey.

Tyson’s philosophy of care is grounded in compassionate, evidence-based practice. He strives to ensure that his patients can physically perform at their desired level and builds long-lasting relationships based on trust, respect, and open communication.

Tyson wants his patients to know that their treatment plan is based on their specific injury, physical exam findings, and personal physical goals. Their quality of life and well-being are his top priorities. Known for being approachable and attentive, Tyson is committed to delivering the highest quality care, whether addressing complex medical issues or routine concerns.

Tyson has been practicing as a PA for 13 years, with extensive experience in both sports and military medicine. This has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of patient care and a broad range of clinical skills.

Tyson’s passion for medicine developed through his experience serving in the military. He found it humbling and rewarding to work on multidisciplinary teams dedicated to ensuring that injured Service Members could perform their duties at a high level after recovery.

Outside of work, Tyson enjoys spending time with his family doing various activities. He also enjoys attending sporting events, hiking, snorkeling, functional fitness, reading, and keeping up with his kids.

Tyson was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and Bronze Star Medal during his military service. Additionally, due to contributions made to military medicine through the Training With Industry program (Army with the NFL), he was awarded the Rehabilitation Award from the Society of Federal Health Professionals.
