Currys Return After his Latest Ankle Injury

Dr. Murali Moorthy talked with the San Francisco Chronicle about Warriors point guard Stephen Curry’s right ankle injury that caused him to miss six games. Curry returned to the court on Friday, March 23 against the Atlanta Hawks. With four recent injuries to Curry’s right ankle, Dr. Moorthy shared what he thought it means for Curry and the rest of the Warriors season.

“I think in general the concern is that he’s developing scar tissue with each little tweak, and that can aggravate the situation. My concern is that, because we’re moving along in the season here, he’s not able to fully get back the necessary strength in that ankle,” said Dr. Moorthy.
