I am Impressed

Dr, Wiseman performed a Reverse Right Shoulder Replacement in early May 1, 2024 and it apparently went well, although just starting my ninth week of recovery arm is still a bit sore. I think Dr. Wiseman has done a superb job in the procedure and I have full confidence that the same procedure on my left shoulder, torward the end of the year, will be done with the same level of professionalism.

I love Dr Wiseman. He has been taking care of me for over 15 years. I had serious knee issues and working with him, we were able to resolve the issues. He is a very caring physician and surgeon and I would never think of using a different physician for any of the issues he is able to work with in his field of expertise. I have always felt secure with him and trust his judgments of what is the best treatment I need for any injuries I have had. He also treated my son for an injury he had to his wrist while wrestling for his high school team in 2008 - 2009. Actually that is how I met Dr Wiseman. I wish all of my John Muir doctors were cloned after Dr Wiseman. We could use many more doctors like him.

I really appreciated Dr Wiseman’s knowledge, manner and skill. He was able to correct another doctor’s poorly installed knee replacement and recommend an excellent care plan. His team was also very good!

My experience with robotic surgery by Craig Wiseman MD has been quite positive. My post-operative physical therapists tell me the procedure was well done.

By far the best orthopedic office I’ve been to ever and the doctor explained my condition very clearly with options of treatment!!!

Dr. Wiseman operated on my torn lateral meniscus five years ago and it’s still holding up fine. So when I had an issue with my shoulder, I sought his consult. He examined me and diagnosed my frozen shoulder right away. I start PT tomorrow and looking forward to better days!

I had knee aspirations, cortisone , gel injections, all recommended by a Dr. Well , nothing helped . I then went to Dr. Wiseman and he said just get a knee replacement. He gave me an answer that worked. I was scared to go through with it but in the end it worked out. He has a way of comforting the patient and making you feel like it will all work out. He did a great job on my knee .

As a 66yr. old man I found that body parts don't seem to work as good as they once did especially when you take a fall. When it was determined that a complete shoulder replacement was needed I knew who and where I needed to go! DOCTOR WISEMAN with GOLDEN STATE ORTHOPEDICS & SPINE Finding out you'll be needing something anything replaced on or in your body can and was a bit frightening and leaves you with alot of questions. Had a complete knee replacement. Dr. Wiseman is a fantastic surgeon and I would recommend him with no reservations. I was playing 18 holes of golf 5 weeks after my surgery date.

My left shoulder was in terrible shape due to a botched joint replacement job from years ago by a different physician. Last July, Dr. Craig Wiseman performed the first of three surgeries that, very literally, saved my life. I met him in the Emergency Room in July 2022 with an acute infection and sepsis. When I say he “saved my life,” I was on the brink of total disaster, and he saved me. I have experience dealing with many, many doctors over recent years, for one thing or another. As a patient, I have come to know Dr. Wiseman and found him to be always caring, always kind and sensitive, a good and very clear communicator, and the consummate professional. As a hospital patient he showed up practically every day to check on me. As an office patient, although I typically I have to wait, his feedback, instructions, and encouragement are all worth the wait. On a scale of 1-10, Dr. Wiseman is a solid 10. I recommend him highly. Love Dr. Wiseman. He tries for the least invasive first but not afraid to tell you when a partial just won’t work. Several weeks after my total knee replacement and already have less pain and the knee is STABLE.

I had surgery almost seven weeks. After going back and forth with other surgeons and having this be my second surgery, Dr. Wiseman took the time and energy to evaluate different routes to help my problem. Not only did he take the time to address the issue adequately, but he was able to get me in and do the surgery without any problems. It’s a long way to recovery, but so far, I feel better as time progresses. Dr. Wiseman takes the time to listen and go over any questions or concerns that (we) as patients have. I would recommend him to anyone who is thinking of or looking to have some knee surgery.

Great experience with Craig M. Wiseman, MD as my orthopedic surgen. The surgery went as planned which is what you want. Golden State Orthopedics & Spine staff are nice. Though an area of improvement that I’d recommend is to implement a system where patients can send questions to their doctors. I needed to call repeatedly when I had post-op questions and in some cases repeat my question to multiple people. It would have been great if I could email in my question and get a response from the doctor or his staff. Dr Wiseman is A+ and I’d recommend him. I would recommend the Brentwood location.

Dr wiseman has done scopes on booth my knees in 2013 and 2016 and repair of my Labrum and rotator cuff this year. I have had zero problems with my knees and am currently in PT and recovering for my shoulder which is going great. He also did 2 knee replacements on my father whos had zero issues and feels great Would highly recommend Dr. Wiseman.

I saw 2 orthopedic surgeons before I met with Dr Wiseman. All I can say is that it must have been divine intervention to lead me to Dr Wiseman. He did a total righ knee replacement. Sure, it was not fun but I could not have had a better surgeon. Everything was perfect all around. The prep, the hospital choice, the aftercare. It's been a year and a half. My knee is like new and I'm 79. It takes awhile and you have to do your part. Dr Wiseman replaced a knee on one friend and a shoulder on another. They would parrot me. Thank you God for Dr Wiseman.

I had worn down the cartilage in both my knees and I needed to have both knees replaced. It was painful and difficult to walk. Most people have one knee done at a time, but I was a good candidate to get them both replaced at one time. Dr Wiseman and his PA, Kali prepped me for this difficult surgery (and recovery) and then took great care of me during and after. Dr. Wiseman came to my hospital room for 3 days following the surgery to check up on me. Kali then did the follow-up. The surgery was flawless and I am still getting used to my new knees, 6 weeks post surgery. I am up and walking and moving along. I can tell I will be happy with the result after a few more months. The staff at Golden State Orthopedics was great in helping me schedule the surgery (difficult to do because of COVID) and handle all the pre-op appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Wiseman and Golden State Orthopedics.

Dr. Wiseman has been my grandmother's doctor for years, helping her manage her arthritis. He has always been incredibly kind and attentive towards her very unique needs and has been great with coming up with different solutions to help her manage her pain and mobility issues. I sustained an injury to a tendon in the knee area after an rather intense bike ride, followed by a bad stumble out of a shower. I thought for certain that I had torn or permanently inured something. I was in Muir Orthopedics the next day for an afternoon appointment with Dr. Wiseman. I had a lot of questions to ask him, and he took the time to answer all of them, reviewing my X-rays as we discussed them. I am sure that some of my questions might have seemed simple or sophomoric, but he took the time to address all of them. It was reassuring to sense that I was "the" important patient in the room, and not one of a stream of "cattle" coming through the clinic. He may take some time finally getting into your room to discuss your issue, but I can only imagine that this is because he treats each of his patients the same way, giving them all the time they need to address their issues. An excellent physician; I recommend him highly (and, by the way, he did remedy the problem with the tendon near my knee).

Dr. Wiseman did an excellent job on both shoulders. Not only did he ensure optimal medical care, he listened to my concerns while offered best advice.
