Dr. Moorthy Talks With KRON4 About Kevin Durants Calf Strain
Dr. Murali Moorthy shares his expertise of calf strains and injuries with KRON4 after Kevin Durant left in the 3rd quarter of the Western Conference Semifinals. An MRI has ruled out an Achilles tear, which is good news for Durant and the Warriors because that would have required surgery and put Durant out for at least nine months. When Dr. Moorthy was interviewed, it was still unsure if Durant would be able to return in time for the finals. It will depend on the level of his calf strain.“With a mild strain you are looking at one to two weeks, with a moderate strain you are looking at four to six weeks, with a severe strain you are looking at two to three months,” said Moorthy.Watch the story
