Rachael is a family nurse practitioner primarily working with Dr. Theodore Schwartz at the Dublin location. She specializes in both acute and chronic conditions involving the shoulders, elbows, hands and wrists. Rachael is a first assist in the operating room, administers injections, orders diagnostic testing and most importantly, helps patients step by step on their road to recovery. She completed her bachelors in public health at the University of Arizona, followed by a move to Atlanta to complete both her bachelors in nursing as well as masters in nursing at Emory University.

Rachael was first introduced to medicine through her father, spending her summers home shadowing him in the hospital. What truly drove her passion to become a practitioner was her time spent working extremely closely with patients living with Multiple Sclerosis. She has spent her career as a nurse practitioner working in orthopedics as well as urgent care.

She believes that building a strong relationship with her patients is the key to success when providing optimal and efficient care. Her goal is to ensure every patient is well taken care of, treated with the utmost respect and most importantly, heard when it comes to their questions and concerns. “I love getting the chance to not only educate and help treat a patient in regard to their condition, but getting to know each and every one of my patients on a personal level has become my absolute favorite part! I am a big believer in ensuring my patients have a clear understanding about their diagnosis and feel comfortable and confident when leaving the office.”

Rachael is a Bay Area native currently living in San Francisco. She loves to spend her time at the beach with her Bernedoodle, playing tennis, trying new restaurants in the city and spending time with her friends and family.
