ABOUT

Leslie Chu

Leslie Chu is a family nurse practitioner working alongside Dr. Saqib Hasan, specializing in diagnosing and treating neck, back, and spine conditions, as well as managing patient outreach. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA.

With a special interest in spine care, Leslie is driven by the profound impact that effective care can have on an individual’s well-being, mobility, and quality of life. She believes in providing patient-centered care and education to empower patients to take an active role and make informed decisions about their health. “My philosophy of care is focused on collaborating with patients to help them achieve their personal goals as I guide them with my knowledge and training to improve their overall health and well-being”.

Upon graduating from University of California, Riverside, Leslie moved to the Bay Area and developed an interest in orthopedic spine after gaining experience in spine administration and clinical research. She is excited to return to the field and provide care to patients as a nurse practitioner.

Leslie grew up in Southern California and enjoys spending time with friends and family. Outside of clinic, her personal interests include singing, playing taiko (Japanese drumming), and playing tennis.
