ABOUT

Mia Manipud

Mia Manipud is a dedicated nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and sports medicine. She works alongside Dr. Chris Chung to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, providing clear explanations of specific conditions and crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Mia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2015 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2022. With over six years of experience in critical care, she has honed her skills in medical intensive care and step-down units.
Skilled in performing annual exams, pre-operative evaluations, and sports physicals, Mia also offers in-office services such as basic IV therapy for dehydration and same-day care for urgent health concerns. She is experienced in prescribing weight loss medications, including GLP-1 treatments, to support her patients in achieving their health and wellness goals.
As a steadfast advocate for her patients, Mia prioritizes building rapport and trust. She believes that a comfortable, transparent relationship with patients is key to fostering compliance and ensuring a successful care plan. By educating her patients on the physiology behind their conditions and available treatment options, Mia empowers them to make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of work, Mia enjoys an active lifestyle, training for her 11th half-marathon, and spending time with her husband and dog in the great outdoors. She also loves crafting and caring for her plants.
