Our Doctors in The News

It’s been a busy few months for our Surgeons – being awarded or honored for one thing or another! We are pleased to share that Dr John Knight and Dr Louay Toma have been chosen for San Francisco Magazine’s “Top Doctors” 2020 list in the Orthopaedic Surgery category. Dr Knight is an orthopedic leader in the Walnut Creek and San Ramon medical communities and Dr Toma is a skilled and experienced surgeon with thought-leading expertise in the anterior approach for total hip replacement surgery. We congratulate them on this wonderful achievement. Learn more about Dr Knight here and Dr Toma here.

Another Golden State Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr Charles Preston, has been elected to the Board of Councilors for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In that role, Dr Preston will be representing the interests of Northern California Orthopedists. Congratulations to Dr Preston, who provides state of the art treatment for general orthopedics and sports injuries. Learn more about Dr Preston here.

We are excited that our new Orthopaedic Urgent Care facility will be opening in a few weeks. Our Urgent Care is currently open and will be relocating from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor in our Walnut Creek facility at 2405 Shadelands Drive. Our patients find it very beneficial to be able to visit a specialty urgent care facility where our providers are experts in orthopedics. We also have an outpatient surgery center in the same building, which is an option for many kinds of orthopedic surgeries. In a recent video featured on TV, our Doctors explain the advantages of specialty facilities such as these. In the video you’ll get to meet Dr Eric Fulkerson, Dr Wendy Wong, and Dr Louay Toma. Learn more about Dr Fulkerson here and Dr Wong here.
