ABOUT

Stephen Powers

Helping patients achieve their goals and return to maximum function is what drew me to a career as an orthopedic physician assistant. I believe that developing an interactive, personal relationship with you helps us to make important, informed decisions together regarding your course of treatment.

My areas of specialty include the shoulder, elbow, and hand. I am trained in assisting Dr. Stuffmann evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients through non-operative and operative techniques. As your physician assistant, I place a tremendous amount of importance on patient education; carefully explaining your condition and treatment options will make you feel more comfortable and confident about your individual situation.

When I’m not seeing patients at Golden State Orthopedics & Spine, I enjoy playing softball and golf, watching Warriors basketball, traveling, and enjoying time with friends and family. In addition, I am an active member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Dr. Stuffmann, and I want to make sure that you leave well-informed and are confident with your visit. I welcome your questions or concerns regarding your orthopedic condition.
